Light Master Freehand additive add to lightening powder for open air techniques. Transform your Light Master Lightening Powder with the Freehand Additive for a creamy texture ideal for open air techniques. The ‘stay put’ texture encapsulates the hair to maintain lightening power and give a more precise application with limited transfer. Directions for Freehand Additive: Wear suitable disposable gloves, mix 15g of Lightening Powder (1 level Lightening Powder scoop), 30ml of developer and 4.5g of Freehand Additive (1 level Freehand Additive scoop). Apply to the hair. Maximum development time is 50 minutes or until desired lift s achieved. AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. Use only with Light Master Lightening Powder. DO NOT USE WITH HEAT.

In the late 1970s, Mr. Miller saw that the retail market was shrinking and decided to sell Ardell in 1980 in order to concentrate on building Matrix, which would market its products only to professional hair-care buyers.
"I felt that in order to be successful, I needed more focus. I chose the professional end because I knew the business better and I liked it better,” he said.
